How do I buy online at Ballet Basics?

Please log in to create a shopping profile with your personal details. This information will include your name, address and contact details.  This information will be kept private and not shared with anyone.

Select the items and colours of the dancewear you require, double checking the sizes and then checkout. This will take you to the secure payment page. Payment can be made with Master or Visa credit or debit cards or via EFT payment.

Has my order been received?

You will receive an invoice emailed to you detailing your order details once payment has been completed.

How do I make payment?

Payment is either via credit / debit card or an EFT and PayFast. The system will guide you through the process and all the card details will be kept secure by PayFast.

Can I make a cash payment?

Should you choose to deposit cash you will be liable for the cash deposit fee charged by the bank and this is payable before your order is dispatched.

How do I get my order?

We endeavour to send the orders out as quickly as possible. Your order will be couriered to you by The Courier Guy and this will take 2 – 5 days from the order being processed. Once your order has been handed over to the courier an email will be sent with the waybill / tracking number.

What if the item I am wanting to order is Out of Stock?

We will endeavour to supply the item as quickly as possible, however occasionally the item might need to be manufactured first. Please contact us via email to order the item and we will be in contact directly.

Do you ship internationally?

At this stage we only ship within the boundaries of South Africa.

Can I collect my order from your store?

You are welcome to collect your order from the store, however please bear in mind that it is by appointment only so call ahead to schedule your collection.

Can I return an item and how?

Ordered the wrong size?  Exchanges are welcome within 21 days of the order being dispatched. However please bear in mind that the garment needs to be unworn and with the labels attached. Hosiery and hair accessories are not returnable due to the nature of the product. Shipping costs on returns are for the customer’s account.

Cancellation of an Order

Changed your mind or circumstances have changed? Orders can be cancelled.

If the order is cancelled between payment via Visa / MasterCard and shipping, the money will be refunded less a 15% admin fee.

If EFT payment is selected and payment isn’t made within 24 hours, the order is automatically cancelled.
